My taste for anime stuff has been withering ever since last summer, and going to Fanime made me realized how much I've actually come to dislike it. In the past months, I feel like my growth as an artist has been hindered by DA. Checking DA has also become rather boring and more of a chore than enjoyable thing. I think leaving will give me the opportunity to sharpen my skills greatly and eventually allow me to stop drawing anime-esque things. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table at Fanime! I was so disorganized the first day. I cosplayed Riku from KH2 on Saturday, and then I wore my snowflake yukata on Sunday. I got up to look around Artist Alley on Sunday and saw a lot of DA artists (most of them seemed to be gone from their table). I said hi to !bebichu (https://www.deviantart.com/bebichu) which was really cool :). I also got to say hi to :iconslimu: since he had a table next to mine. A lot of people liked my snowflake yukata and gave me compliments while I walked around. Someone asked me for a photo too. I feel a bit better now after a day or two about this issue. I'm so much like a child...always complaining, whining, and sulking ^^;. Thank you so much for the nice comments you guys inputed. It really did help out and make me a bit less sulky. Sorry I didn't reply to any of them >,< I'm a bit crammed with work from precollege so I'm just editing this entry. I thought about this through yesterday, and I think I will transition to realism/semi-realism as time goes by. Much of my realism still looks very semi and I'm really shaky with proportions and alignments, but I can fix them with references. As for anime, I don't know if I will stop
